This morning as I opened my internet home page, a headline popped up about the Israeli-Palestine conflict, along with a picture of a wounded Palestinian man. My eight year old daughter was sitting near me, and asked why the man was hurt. Trying to explain a conflict of that magnitude to an eight year old girl is tough, but I just summed it up by saying that neither side could come to an agreement. Lot's of deep difficult questions followed, and we ended up praying together that somehow the love of Jesus might touch those involved in and effected by the fighting. That's all we could do.....
